A Sleep & Airway Consultation is designed for patients who may be experiencing symptoms such as snoring, poor sleep quality, daytime fatigue, morning headaches, brain fog, mouth breathing, clenching or grinding, restless sleep, or difficulty tolerating CPAP therapy.
During this visit, we review your health history, sleep symptoms, airway risk factors, dental findings, facial and jaw development, breathing patterns, and any previous sleep testing or treatment. The goal is to better understand whether sleep-disordered breathing or airway restriction may be contributing to your symptoms.
This visit does not replace a medical diagnosis from a physician, but it helps determine whether further sleep evaluation, oral appliance therapy, or collaborative care may be appropriate.
Services include:
Comprehensive Airway Consultation
Home Sleep Testing
Oral Appliance Therapy
Airway Imaging (CBCT)
CPAP Alternatives
Evaluation of Existing Oral Appliances
Personalized Appliance Selection
Collaboration with other healthcare providers.

Patient Expectations
-
Patients may be asked to complete sleep and airway questionnaires, provide a list of medications, share previous sleep study results if available, and bring any CPAP or oral appliance information if they have used one in the past.
-
Patients can expect a detailed conversation about symptoms, sleep habits, breathing patterns, medical history, and goals for care. Photos, dental records, airway measurements, or imaging may be recommended depending on the patient’s needs.
-
Patients will receive recommendations for next steps. These may include a home sleep test, referral to a sleep physician, custom oral appliance therapy evaluation, nasal breathing support, myofunctional therapy, or collaboration with other healthcare providers.
